Strategy workshop for club board

The Holbrook Club is a community-based health, fitness and sports club in the south of England which has a history extending back to the 1960’s. Its diverse facility offering means that it caters to a broad mix of children and adults. Over time, the club has migrated from a private members club, when owned by the Royal Sun Alliance, to a more community-orientated organisation. A key challenge the organisation presently faces is how it defines its long-term purpose given the changing and increasingly competitive market landscape.

I designed and delivered a series of strategic workshops for the club’s board and senior management team. The key outcome was for the board to define the organisation’s renewed purpose and define and craft its long-term strategy.
